What is PCCT? Park Crest Calvary Temple is one church with multiple locations. In March of 2006 Park Crest A/G & Calvary Temple A/G merged together. Our vision is to establish multiple locations all across the city of Springfield to more effectively reach out and meet needs. Our mission statement is passionately connecting people to Jesus by creating a community where we belong, believe, and become.
What is PCCT MC? Park Crest Calvary Temple Masters Commission is an intense nine and a half month discipleship program. During that time, the process will challenge who you are and transform you into who God has destined you to be. Through accountability and mentoring, from our staff to special guest speakers, relevant teaching and hard work. You will not recognize yourself on graduation day.
What Education will I take while in Masters Commission? We offer all our educational opportunities through Global University. Global University offers students, leaders, lay people, and anyone with the calling of ministry on their life the option to pursue full credentialling with the Assemblies of God and/or to recieve specialized degree in children's ministry, youth ministry, and urban outreach ministry, and a full list of accredited degrees. Where do I live while at Masters Commission? PCCT MC offers an in-church apartment and an on-campus house just behind the main building for our students. Both are fully furnished with a set of dressers, a closet and bunkbeds, offering a very dorm like feel. Also they are equipped with fully functioning kitchens and a full set of cooking utensils.
Do we travel while in Masters Commission? Throughout the year we travel to studen'ts home churches, to our annual Masters Commission Conference in Phoeniz, AZ. and several other ministry venues along with state to state tours.
Am I able to have a job while in PCCT Masters Commission? First year disciples are not allowed a full or part time job while in the program. There are fundraising opportunities available throughout the year for students to take advantage of. We also teach and help develope surpport letters for students.
What other Minsitries will I have a chance to be involved in ? PCCTMC offers minsitry electives where students will have the opportunities to be involved in Youth Ministry, Children's Ministry, Sunday School, Thrive Student Center, Worship Arts and Drama, Royal Family Kids Camp, & a varity of Outreach Ministries.
What is the Tuition Cost? The tuition cost for the nine moth session is $5000.00. However, we offer an early payoff incentive that will lower tuition to $4,500.00 if all tuition is payed before December 1st of that year.
What happens after Masters Commission? After graduating your first year of MC students face that big question "Now What?" If you are not enrollin g for a second year in MC at your current program here are some options for you. Springfied boasts with 5 fulltime colleges to continue your education. Among these colleges: CBC (Central Bible College) which offers a degree completion program and scholarship opportunities for former Masters Commission graduates.
