Ministry to the Foster Kids of Missouri

Each year we take foster children to a week long camp in the beautiful country side of Eagle Rock Missouri. It takes lots of volunteers and lots of love to make this camp a success. This is just one example of the activities we provide for the foster kids during camp. In everything we do, the emphasis is on "creating positive memories for abused and neglected kids".

The Activity Center is a favorite place during our week at camp. Everyone gets to use the power drill to put together their bird houses and bug boxes. A special fishing trip to Roaring River Hatchery is everyone's turn to catch a fish. The horseback rides and petting zoo are two of the most fun spots in the camp. Even the counselors get a turn on the horse! 

The Royal Tea Party is a girl's dream activity. The girls get dressed up with hats, gloves, heels, jewelry, and fancy dresses. Then they are escorted into the party by one of our gentlemen. They are seated at a beautiful table laid with china and crystal. Then they are served "tea and cookies." After that we have a fashion show featuring these lovely little girls.
